Laura Holderman, President (email Laura)

Laura Holderman, PresidentLaura lives, works and plays right here in Spring Hill and she loves it. She made sure Spring Hill had a community theatre before moving here and quickly got involved, serving in the pit orchestra, on stage, as costume mistress, as director, and as an Old School Theatre member and board member. She comes to the board with over 30 years of theatre experience, including 25 years working with Players de Noc Community Theater in Escanaba, Michigan. She holds an Associate of Religion Education and a Bachelor of Music Education and has taught voice, piano, guitar, and musical theory in her private studio. As president of Old School Theatre she is extremely proud to be part of an organization that is committed to two of her favorite things: community and theatre.

Jennifer Pelletier, Secretary (email Jennifer)

Jennifer Pelletier, TreasurerJennifer Pelletier comes to Spring Hill from Huntsville, AL, where she was involved in the vocal and musical theatre productions of the Community Chorus for 10 years.  Working with everything from hair and makeup to lighting and sound support, she progressed to committee chair and on-stage roles.  As Treasurer for Old School Theatre, she brings not only a passion for creativity and teamwork, but also a love of numbers (retaining an engineering-major’s attention to detail). After 4 years in Spring Hill – and kicking off her second year with Old School Theatre – she loves the community and her peers in the company and is grateful to everyone who has joined in sharing performances with the family community of the Spring Hill area!

Mark Pelletier, Vice President (email Mark)

Mark Pelletier, Member at LargeMark is an energetic and active member of Old School Theatre.  He has been involved in theatre and drama for over 25 years filling roles both on stage and behind the scenes.  He enjoys straight plays and comedies but has a special passion for musicals. As an active musician they strike a chord (no pun intended) within his soul.  He brings that same enthusiasm to Old School Theatre whether it is on stage or behind the scenes and would love to share the thrill of the theatre with everyone.  Originally from Boston and after several years in Huntsville, AL, Mark loves the close knit community of Spring Hill and is looking forward to helping Old School Theatre continue to bring high quality entertainment to community.

Joe Leavitt, Member-at-Large (email Joe)

Joe Leavitt, Member at LargeJoe Leavitt has been involved in theatre since his debut in a fifth grade operetta called The Gigo Effect about the takeover of computers. Since then Joe has appeared in professional, collegiate and community theatre productions in his native Michigan and around the Southeast. Joe served for several terms as President of the Spring Hill Arts Center before leading a group of people that formed Old School Theatre- a direct offshoot of SHAC. Joe currently resides in Franklin with his wife Julie and their three girls and miniature long-haired Dachshund Keely. He works as Syndication Strategist for the nationally syndicated Dave Ramsey Show and is a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Franklin.

Alan Rhoads, Treasurer

Alan has the dubious distinction of being one of the newest members of the Old School Theatre Board, and also the oldest. But don’t be fooled, with all that gray hair comes a wealth of experience in local theatre. Alan has performed in dramas, musicals, and comedy shows in Williamson and Maury Counties as often as possible for the past 15 years. His day job is as a Technical Consultant for Hewlett Packard, but he makes it perfectly clear to everyone that he would much rather be on stage either singing or making people laugh. Alan has learned a great deal about directing and theatre lighting and sound over the past year, specifically with his involvement in the our production of Neil Simon’s FOOLS. Even though he grew up in Pennsylvania, he considers this his home, having lived in Spring Hill/Thompsons Station for over 20 years now. His kids have grown up here, mostly graduated from here, and will soon be coming back home to here for their family visits. I don’t guess you get more home than that. So Alan figured that now was the time to get active in being not just a performer, but someone who teaches and influences the direction of the arts and, in particular, the theatre in this area. Alan expresses his gratitude for those who have shown so much confidence in his skills and abilities over the years past, and pledges to work hard to make the future bright for the Old School Theatre.
