It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play Our second production for the 2011-2012 season, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, will arrive just in time for the holiday season. Five actors will create more than fifty memorable characters to bring to life Frank Capra’s beloved film. This unique stage adaptation is performed as a radio play, broadcast on Christmas Eve, 1946. Everyman George Bailey gets the chance to see what the world would be like if he’d never been born. And the audience will feel as if it’s in a real 1940s radio station, complete with period microphones, sound effects, and applause sign.
