The Well Outreach serves hundreds of families each year with the help of  nearly one hundred volunteers performing numerous tasks including: customer service, stocking shelves, bread pick-up, community liaisons, bagging food, and prayer warriors.

What began in February 2006 with a small group of Wellspring Christian Church members recognizing a need in Spring Hill led to the incorporation in 2009 of The Well Outreach, a non-profit organization dedicated to demonstrating God’s love by serving food to those in need.

By serving those in need through supporting spiritual, emotional and physical growth, The Well has touched the lives of over 1,700 families since its humble beginnings, and the organization’s leadership is making plans to be serving more than food.

Plans for the future include providing classes to their clients on budget, finances, career counseling, thrifty shopping and other areas that would further support emotional growth. Discounted health care and affordable clothing as well as providing bible studies, support groups, Christ-centered events, times for worship and prayer meetings are all on the drawing board as the Well looks to the future of Spring Hill and the needs of its community.
