The Spring Hill Public Library provides library services to the City of Spring Hill and the areas of Williamson and Maury Counties that surround Spring Hill. They serve the community faithfully in their efforts to meet the recreational, educational and informational needs of our patrons by providing books, videos, audio cassettes/CDs/DVDs and free internet services.
Services and Events
In addition to providing a wealth of books on every subject (as every good library should), the SHPL offers a wide range of services to the community, including their “Ask a Librarian” program. This remarkable service allows patrons to inquire about population statistics, referrals to business and entertainment websites, and answer specific questions about dates, facts, and figures, and most of all … books! They can’t help you do your homework, math problems, IRS questions (except where to go to find the answers!), or names and addresses for individuals, but if you need someone to point you in the right direction for research or have a specific question, these are the people to ask!
The SHPL is proud to offer a wonderful array of events like free Story Time Monday through Thursday at 10am, free computer classes, access to the Regional Ebook and Audio Book Download System, the Heritage Quest system, the Tennessee Electronic Library and so much more!
Volunteers and Friends of the Library
SHPL is always grateful for help from the community and has an active volunteer program allowing interested supporters with time on their hands to help out with the many daily tasks necessary to run a library.
Interested in taking a more active hand? Consider joining the Friends of the Library, SHPL’s biggest supporters and advocates. They help with many library-related events including the Summer Reading Program, Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Party, and the Christmas Open House.
